So as you now know, the Friday after we spent the night in College Station we were supposed to head to Boo at the Zoo, but because of the torrential downpour Fort Worth was experiencing- we headed to Austin instead. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon, even though it was wet, wet, wet- it had finally stopped pouring so we decided to take our chances and head out to the zoo!
Our giraffe was more than happy to get out and release some of her energy running her tail off (pun intended ;)).
Seriously though, I don't think she could have been any cuter; I just loved seeing her confidence rocking her giraffe costume :).
Especially when she started showing me just how long her neck was.
You know, like a giraffe ;).
Her foot pop kills me.
This year it was pretty much just trick-or-treating. Someone had rented out the pavilion space for their wedding (I felt terrible for them because of all the rain!) so there were no games for the kiddos to play. That was ok in Emma's book and she loved running up to the tables saying 'trick-or-treat!'.
We went during Evsie's nap time so she was hit or miss on her mood :), but still definitely into the candy aspect.
When we stopped to look at the penguins, the girls had a fun time wiggling their tails all around :).
Attack of the Emma for good measure.
Look at that sweet diaper hanging out- it hit me that this is (hopefully) our last Halloween in diapers!
This view (especially in costumes!) never gets old :).
The sweetest most sleepy-eyed moo cow with the best curls (because of all the moisture).
We wrapped up our trick-or-treating experience with some finger stamping/painting crafts,
where Emma and Everly crafted some masterpieces ;).
Love spending time with this
It was not our typical Boo at the Zoo experience, but we made the best of it and most importantly- the girls had fun and started to get in the Halloween spirit.

I love the bows you put on their costumes!
