I knew that going into this school year, I needed to have a better system to document and discard Emma and Everly's preschool art. Yes, I love *almost* everything they make, but I hate junk and I don't want a bunch of papers cluttering our house (we already have enough as it is ;)). Last year, I had a grand plan that I was going to save Emma's art for each semester, snap a million pictures to post and then discard the art. Well sometimes best laid intentions fall flat and not only did I not snap pictures, the art ended up scattered all over our house. With two preschoolers now (still not sure how this is possible!), I am bound and determined not to let that happen this year so I have come up with the idea to post monthly installments of their preschool art.
Like most preschool's, they follow and A, B, C type of theme and I love that as I was looking through their art even though they are learning the same things, there is a varying degree of difficulty as they get older. First up, Ev's art.
And then, a few random pieces of art. I love the footprints (I will definitely save those!).
And, Emma's art.
Are you shocked that she mostly lined her bubble gum dots in a row, sorted by color??! ;).
I love what they did for the Calico cat.
And a few other random pieces from Emma (they worked on the creation story the first week of school).
Preschool art is the best :).
