Church Picnic #2

The Sunday after Austin's church picnic, was our church picnic.  Around 1 we headed up to our church, ate some bar-b-que and headed out to play some games/ride more ponies ;).  It is tough to say which picnic was more fun, because both were definitely great!, but we knew it would be hard to beat Austin's picnic for Emma because she was enamored with the face painting and balloon animals that we knew our picnic didnt offer :).

She chose to go on the jump house first.

And they were both pretty happy about that.

It is safe to say that Everly has totally bought into the hype of bounce houses.

Sister love or sister tackle in the bounce house, I will let you decide :).

And then we headed over to ride the ponies- the same exact ponies that we rode the day before- Emma was happy to be reunited with her horse (I think named Sunday...).

After walking around for a bit, we headed back in to share a bag of cotton candy while daddy played a few rounds of bingo.

Both girls have a love affair any time they can get their hands on cotton candy.

Ev's can't stuff it in her mouth fast enough before requesting for Emma to 'share more'.

I love to watch them work it all out between themselves - they even shared quite a bit with another little girl who was sitting nearby (and mommy, of course ;)).

Family picture = stoic Everly ;).

As we were heading back outside to spend the rest of our tickets, we ran into Olaf and Ev's surprised us all with her enthusiasm to see him :).  I am thinking Disney World: round 2 might be in her future ;).

I think this may be my favorite picture of the entire picnic :).

We made our way to the slide bounce house and since there were no other kids there, they just kept letting the girls go over and over again much to their delight.

I always worry about my Ev's on these kinds of thing- but our girl is getting tough :).

And comes down full force :).

I love watching this girl in motion- she is not scared of much of anything :).

Then, we headed over for a couple of additional pony rides, because why not? when the owner of the farm gave us their pamphlet and invited us out to their farm :).

I love that both girls are giving me their best smiles and that I can see the other girl in both pictures- there is little that warms my heart more than sisters :).

To wrap up our time at the picnic- we pet the animals,

fed the goats some grass,

brushed the 'oink oink',

and gave the goats one last snack before wrapping up our time at the petting farm.

We realized we had a few tickets left to spend and let the girls pick as many ducks as they wanted so Emma could get a hand full of rings

and Ev's could take home a duck to splash around with in the bathtub.

Overall, it was such a fun day spent with our girls.
