Santa Baby

We have come and somewhat sufficiently conquered meeting Santa Claus (and by that I mean 3 times) in 2015.  Short story, even though it got off to a rough start, it went way better than last year.  Long story, see below for loads of pictures.

Our first Santa stop was after the Arlington Christmas parade - the girls were super excited while we were standing in line (Everly was even spotted saying 'Santa bring me special prize'), but their attitudes changed when it was their time :).

She wanted to make a break for it, but we held on strong.

And got a look of extreme hesitation from our girl.

Although, her top knot was close to perfection this day (you know, the important things :)).

So we decided to put Emma up there and while that made Ev's more comfortable, Emma turned out to be more frightened than normal.  I would like to name this picture, 'mommy is the only one that is excited to see Santa' ;).

Like everything with kids, most things are just a phase, so we decided to try again at our Church where they had cookies and pictures with Santa after Mass last Sunday.  Ironically they were dressed in the exact same outfits.  Emma jumped right up there this time.

And told me this is her new cheese face #i'msolucky #exceptnot.

I told her to smile like a normal person and showed her how and this is what I got :), I think even Santa is like what??!!??

That went so well that we decided to put baby sister up there - Wes labeled this picture,
'we're not afraid anymore'.

This is my favorite picture :), he was such a good Santa sitting there and talking with the girls and making them feel really comfortable.

We even got one of just Ev's up there with Santa :).

Hugs bye bye for Santa :).

By the end of her 1st preschool program on Tuesday night, Ev's was all in when it came to Santa and it was just as adorable and cute as we thought it would be :).

We got both of the girls up there for one last Santa picture of the season.

But before we could officially call it a wrap, Nonni snuck in there to get in on the Santa action with some of her favorite girls :).

Oh, Santa- we adore you and can't wait until you show up at our house on Christmas Eve ;).
