Everly's nursery looks a lot like Emma's nursery with the exception of a new crib, new sheets, new curtains and we removed two items off the wall. While I will say it is almost complete, it is not quite finished.
Here is the view from when you walk into the room. We added new curtains to the room!
Here is a close up of the changing area- we took down the gold 'LOVE' print above the dresser so that we could move it downstairs. I am looking for a round mirror (but not too round- with some sort of design) that I can spray paint gold to hang above the changing table and then that area will be complete. Baby Starbucks and the riding horse have stayed in the nursery. However, sheepy has been moved downstairs since Emma loves riding him.
New curtains- really, these are not new, I had six panels in my office. We moved two panels into Everly's nursery and two panels into Emma's big girl room. It is not a coincidence that the walls in my office, Everly's nursery and Emma's big girl room are all painted the same shade of grey!
The animal heads are still on the wall- they were a huge hit with Emma and I hope that Everly adores them too :).
A close up of the pink crib and the abacus that my father-in-law made. Don't worry, the stuffed animals have already been removed from the crib- they were just there for the pictures.
A close up of the new sheets- so happy that I splurged ($10 ;)) and got new sheets- I think the grey chevron plays nicely against the bright pink crib. I had pink sheets on the bed, but I wasn't really pleased with how they looked- the grey is much better.
Moving onto the closet- sweet baby girl clothes awaiting Everly!
A look at what the closet floor looks like- we were so blessed by all of the diapers that we received :).
On the outside of the closet- we had this awesome 'E' for Emma, but I had Wes move this to Emma's big girl room early on- way before we knew Everly's name. At this point, I also "knew" that we would not have two baby girl names that began with the letter 'E'. Was I wrong or what?!? Anyhow, right now we have a game from the my work baby shower that is hanging up. I have Wes hunting down another vintage/industrial 'E' on Ebay.
As we move to the left side of the room, the bookcase and the picture frames are exactly the same as they were for Emma. The pink frame and the diaper cupcake stand are from Everly's baby shower.
We will definitely have to change out some of the pictures now that Everly will be living in here! And yes, I will be moving the 'I Love You Blogs and Coffee" print to my office. I already have a replacement frame just waiting for a new picture or print. Sorry about the flash in this picture- I took them late at night!
Love you Everly- hope you love your nursery!
