A Sunset to Remember

As we were walking home from Moon Hill, we noticed that the skies were getting darker and we were so so thankful for the weather we had experienced that day.  At this point, we were feeling a little greedy and were hopeful that we would see the sun set.

Just a dad, his girl, and the stunning karst landscape.

These two don't even recognize how blessed they are :).

Depending on which way we turned the camera depended on the light. Sometimes we got dark and moody and sometimes we got light and airy, but we both agreed that no matter what we captured on camera, nothing compared to how stunning it was in real life.

Truly captivating! And possibly my favorite picture from the trip :).

We were met by this sweet cow family heading home while we were also on our way home.

By the time we made it back, climbed a few stairs to our room and unpacked- we peeked out our balcony and we were blown away with the spectacular sunset.

Given that rain was in the forecast for the entire trip, we felt especially blessed to be able to take in this sight.

We both agreed that the reflection in the rice paddy below was our favorite part.

The light was just delightful beaming down of my girls :).

I might even prefer the reflection of the landscape to the pure sun beam.

As the sun continued to set, the views just kept getting better and better.

Eventually turning the sky into a beautiful, pale, but sparkling orange.

And the best part- we were all there to enjoy it together.

We walked back downstairs and ate dinner outside (with some sweet Austrailians!) feeling completely and utterly blessed :).
