** going to take a break from the house updates since Wes grouted the fireplace yesterday (post to come on the marble installation and grouting; also, I had internet problems yesterday so you may see two posts today**
After our last experience at a Ranger's day game (it was freezing cold), you might wonder why we decided to risk it again. Well, because we had so much fun and figured it couldn't be nearly as cold. Also, because we convinced these two to go with us.
Bobbob hadn't been to a Rangers game in 5 - 6 years so it was time that we remedy that. If you look closely you can see the ball in the brown dirt- Wes was so excited that he was able to capture a home run being hit.
We watched a little baseball, did a little chatting and ate a ton of food. It was dollar hot dog day at the ballpark so we got Emma a hot dog. She loved it, but not nearly as much as she loved the nachos that Bobbob got for her. This picture doesn't even describe the cheesy mess that ensued. Emma had cheese all over her face, head and then got it all over me. If Bobbob would take away the nachos, she grunted for more cheese.
Emma needed some Gatorade to wash down all of that cheesy goodness. Love the way that she was looking up at her mama here :).
Emma got a little restless around the 6th or 7th inning and we went out and played on the concourse. When we came back, she was pooped and was ready for some Ally snuggling.
So Bobbob and Wes and I all took some selffies.
Before we left the game, Emma was grabbing for Wes's hat. She was a pretty happy camper.
I am glad that we braved the heat (we dressed Emma in jeans so she didn't get a sunburn) and went to probably our last Ranger game for awhile. It was a long, hot, sweaty walk back to the car at which point I decided this was my last game before giving birth :).
