Emma was baptized Saturday, May 19th at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Several of our friends and family were able to attend and we both felt really blessed that night. Emma, I am so proud of you for getting baptized. You were such an angel that night and the star of the party (even if you did go to sleep before it was time for cake).

Let's get the party started- we had everyone over to our house after the baptism to celebrate. It was our first party for Emma. She loved it!
Nor sure what Ally is trying to do here with grandma's cane...
Hilarious shot- I would love to know what conversation preceded this photo:
So proud of myself- my first ombre cake! I applied different amounts of pink food color to each layer of vanilla cake, it was so yummy.
To say I was proud of myself is an understatement. I was extremely impressed with my skills.
Adge came in town from Colorado for the baptism. It was her first time to meet Emma- I think she loved her :). Had to some some sister shots since the four of us don't get together as much anymore with Adge living so far away. We started out posing decently...
It quickly turned into this...
Which led to this:
Mom decided to get in on the action and we were back to posing nicely.

We are so excited and honored to bring you up in the Catholic faith. Emma- your baptism was a truly special day, mommy will remember and cherish it forever.
